about angela poliquin
As the head of the appeals and post-conviction work at Grand Canyon Law Group, Angela Poliquin is a force to be reckoned with. With her unique blend of trial and motion practice experience, she brings an unparalleled level of representation to both active criminal cases and post-conviction work.
Angela’s journey in the legal field began at the University of Arizona School of Law, where she honed her skills and passion for justice. During her time there, she served as a writing fellow, was a member of the law review, and was awarded a post-graduate fellowship. Licensed to practice law in Arizona since 2006, she hit the ground running as a criminal defense attorney, conducting numerous felony aggravated DUI trials in Pima County. Her tenacity and expertise shone through as she secured multiple acquittals, setting the stage for a remarkable career.
As her practice evolved, Angela took on high-level felony cases, showcasing her prowess in the courtroom. However, in 2012, she found her true calling in post-conviction relief and appeals. It is here that Angela’s commitment to seeking justice for the wrongfully accused and convicted truly shines.
